Our Story

Our team was brought together through tough times. The founding team of three was made redundant at the height of a tech layoff. However, we turned that experience into a positive one by founding OtterHalf, a marketing consulting firm that helps tech companies grow sustainably with creativity and kickass execution, even with today’s limited budgets.

Our name is a playful twist on 'Other Half', reflecting our commitment to being the reliable marketing partner that you can count on. Why the otter, you might ask? Well, we see ourselves as playful, carefree, and just as fun-loving as the cute aquatic mammal. But don't worry, we won't be raiding your koi pond any time soon!

FOUNDER
With more than 12 years af experience, Cass led and grew marketing and growth teams at foodpanda, Chope, Tripadvisor, and Cococart. She specialises in marketing strategy, strategic partnerships and campaign management.
Sam

COMMUNITY LEAD
Sam’s expertise lies in Influencer & KOLs management and account servicing. She drove community-building efforts for Style Theory and Moom Health in SEA.
Theresa

DESIGN LEAD

Theresa brings a wealth of expertise, having worked with prominent B2C tech brands such as ZALORA Group, ClassPass, Circles, Atome, and more. In her previous role as Senior Graphic Designer at Atome, she crafted various graphics for multiple campaigns for various channels.
Melisa

PARTNERSHIPS LEAD

Mel drove partnerships and business development across Asia. She has led partnership efforts with Google Pay, Facebook, Instagram, Kris+, Meituan Dianping during her time at Chope.
Shu

SENIOR CONTENT STRATEGIST

Shu has flexed her copy and content development chops across almost every online and offline platform. She led the regional content team at Atome, Asia’s leading Buy Now, Pay Later platform and was previously part of Tripadvisor’s global creative team.
Hayley

SENIOR DESIGNER

One-third of the founding team, Hayley is an award-winning designer and illustrator who has over 4 years of experience working with various agencies and in-house teams across Europe and Asia. Some notable brands that Hayley has designed for include Freia and Jacobs Douwe Egberts.
Hikaru

SENIOR MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST

Hix joins with 4 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design. Some of the clients she worked with include Amazon Prime Video, Nestle and Ayala Malls during her time at McCann Worldgroup.
Axel

CONTENT STRATEGIST

Axel account managed a multi-million client at Publicis Singapore, coordinated global marketing campaigns for an e-commerce platform Coda Payments, and worked as a strategist at Tribal Worldwide. Notable brands he’s worked on are Google Play, Audi, The Walt Disney Company, and Visa.
Hanyun

CONTENT DESIGNER

Hanyun brings her expertise in content design through experiences with founding her own design studio and an upcycled fashion brand named CICLA. She was also part of the marketing team at Singapore Fashion Council, and designed a website for food service app startup SKIPQQ.
Jia En 'JE'

RESEARCHER STRATEGIST

Jia En was previously a Senior UX Researcher at Tripadvisor. With 11 years of experience she has covered market research, brand research, user experience (UX) research, as well as workshopping, facilitation, and guest-lecturing in UX.
Damian

MARKETING SPECIALIST

Damian worked at Havas Media and PHD Media, where he honed his media planning skills on a variety of clients, including NTUC, HSBC and Amazon. Today, Damian supports the team with performance ads, and research.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN

Katya is an undergrad at NTU, studying Economics. Her experience as a Business Development and Operations Intern at Zipline.io has led her to her current role with us. Katya focuses on making valuable connections and driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and supporting key partnership activities.
